Personal Motto or Slogan

It's better late than never
That was my personal motto back in school. Why? because I'm always late hahaha. Sometimes, I still have that habit. Haha!

Hindi bale ng matapon ang bigas, wag lang ang Cola ko!
Haha, I got the slogan from my mother, but with her, it's Beer. Sorry, I don't know exactly how to properly translate that in English, so I'll just explain. My mom, she loves drinking beer, but not an alcoholic. Whenever the beer spills, she would be saying that phrase, that she doesn't mind if the rice spills, but not her beer. I thought she was being so unpractical, prioritizing the beer over the rice. Rice is much more important than her beer, because it's food, food keeps us alive, not beer! But then she told me the reason behind it, well, if you spill or accidentally drop the rice, you can always pick it up, clean it, then can eat it afterwards, that is, I'm talking about uncooked rice or the grains. If beer spills, you can't drink it anymore. Can you wipe it with cloth or rag then wring it & let it drip over a glass, so you can drink it again? Or can you lick the spilled beer or sip it with a straw from the floor or the table? SO if the beer spills, you wasted money. Hmm.. good reasoning lolz.
